The LDES Council advances the decarbonization of our world through the acceleration of long-duration energy storage by providing member-driven, fact-based guidance and research on the deployment of long-duration energy storage for society's benefit. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Project Administrator to join our team and support our rapid growth. This position plays a key support role on projects that includes administration, project management, event support and stakeholder engagement. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in learning about the ins and outs of building a new high-profile initiative and applying their experience in nonprofit and business operations.

Essential Functions

  • Organize meetings, presentations, seminars, training, and other events and ensure all members of the department and members of our organization are invited and well-informed.
  • Plan meetings, webinars, in-person events (happy hours with our members, various global conferences) from start to finish according to requirements.
  • Coordinate internal resources and 3rd parties/vendors for successful execution of projects.
  • Responsible for coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support the core team with a variety of administrative tasks, including general scheduling, note-taking, data entry, formatting and editing documents, and organizing documents and materials.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Project Administrator, Event Manager or a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for details.
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal as well as written communication skills.

Location

Candidates are ideally based in the United States or Western Europe. This position is remote.

The LDES Council is hiring a long duration energy storage research analyst to support our rapid growth. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring that written documents and reports published by the Council have a clear and uniform voice, developing and maintaining a comprehensive dataset including all global development of long duration energy storage

The LDES Council is an equal opportunity employer. projects internationally, owning a large written annual report covering annual LDES Council activity and “state of the industry.” This role will help ensure and enable development of long duration energy storage solutions and global decarbonization efforts.


Essential Functions

  • Provide additional research with our member’s LDES projects and build on our lists and trackers
  • Communicate with researchers and consultants on various modeling strategies and outputs
  • Maintain and develop detailed records with information and communication from research efforts in an organized data set
  • Translate data into graphics for members and public forums
  • Review and edit all written and presentation material published by the LDES Council for readability, uniform voice, and cohesiveness
  • Develop a range of graphics to translate key messages for written and presentation material
  • Own the process for developing a large written annual report summarizing the ‘LDES state of the industry’
  • Develop and maintain a timeline to ensure on-time completion of the annual report and help with project management
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop content for the annual report
  • Ensure data privacy for all information collected

Location

Candidates are ideally based in Europe or the United States. This position is remote.
