For the first time, the LDES Council is opening part of its flagship annual gathering to selected customers, investors and ecosystem partners, creating direct opportunities to meet the companies developing long duration energy storage solutions and explore where they can address real energy, investment and infrastructure needs.

Registration is now open for the Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) Council Annual Member Meeting, taking place in Madrid, Spain, on 6–7 October 2026.

Under the theme “Scaling LDES: From Momentum to Market: Reliable, Resilient, Ready,” this year’s meeting will bring technology providers into direct conversation with the organisations buying, financing and enabling deployment.

The programme includes:

Customer & Ecosystem Day, 6 October: Selected utilities, industrial energy users, data centre representatives, financiers and ecosystem partners will meet directly with LDES Council members to understand what’s ready today, explore commercial use cases, investable projects and the requirements needed to move from interest to implementation.

Members-only programme: LDES Council members will have dedicated opportunities to build relationships, align on strategy and help shape the LDES Council’s priorities for 2027.
