LDES Council Welcomes New Communications Director Todd Zeranski

Brussels, 30 April 2024: The Long Duration Energy Storage Council is pleased to announce Todd Zeranski as its new Communications Director. Zeranski will lead the development and implementation of the LDES Council’s global communications strategy.

 “The rapid deployment and scaling of long duration energy storage technologies is critical to accelerate global decarbonization efforts and support a clean and just energy transition. I am incredibly pleased to join the LDES Council and help elevate the organization’s global impact to even greater heights,” Zeranski said. “It is a privilege to work alongside the LDES Council team and our members to meet these ambitious objectives and foster enduring, positive change.”

Most recently, Zeranski served as Director of Strategic Engagement & Marketing at Strategen Consulting, a global professional services firm focused on accelerating the clean energy transition. There, he led marketing, public relations, and innovative stakeholder engagement services for the firm’s business lines and its external clients, which included the California Energy Storage Alliance.

Zeranski previously held key positions at RMI, NextEra Energy, and NRG Energy. Earlier, he was a journalist at Bloomberg News, where he covered global affairs and energy topics.

“Todd's extensive experience and strategic vision make him the perfect fit to lead our communications efforts,” LDES Council CEO Julia Souder said. “Through his collaborative, mission-driven approach and proven track record in strategic communications, I am confident he will play a pivotal role in driving our organization forward in its next phase of growth."
